Ballina Fair Swim & Gym Boasts a 25 metre, 6 lane, 29° heated INDOOR POOL!
 
Available for:
lap swimming, rehabilitation & chair lift, learn to swim, stroke correction, squad training and aqua aerobics as well as school sports and swimming programs ALL YEAR ROUND.
 
P.B. SWIM SCHOOL
          Our Swim & Survive program runs all year. Durring the school terms lessons are held weekday mornings, afternoons and Saturday mornings. Intensive swim lessons are held durring school holidays where a lesson is participated in each day for 1 or 2 weeks.
          Lessons are booked in advance. Payment is either $12 per lesson (paid at each lesson attendance) or $10.00 per lesson if paid for in advance for the duration of the school term. Discounts apply for multiple children and multiple lessons per week.   
          All teachers are Austswim (or higher) Qualified and hold years of experience, all with competive swimming backgrounds.
 
SQUAD TRAINING
         Ballina Indoor Swim Team meets and trains out of Ballina Fair Swim & Gym.
Session times: Weekdays  Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri AM 5.30 - 7.00
                                                Mon to Thurs PM 4.00 - 5.30/6.00         
                           Saturdays  AM 6.00 - 8.30
Fees: Casual $10/session
          Month $100 (unlimited sessions)
 
SWIM CLUB
Ballina Indoor Swim Team (BIST) holds a weekly club night on Wednesdays from 5.30pm. Racing accomdates all ability levels with distances from15m - 200m. Members of BIST also have the opportunity to compete at interclub, district, country, state and national level carnivals.

Working on correct technique and breathing for freestyle and backstroke and also diving into the water.

Aimed to achieve elite performances at NSW coutry, state and national meets. Compulsary 6-8 seesions/week. Swimmers must be a member of BIST.
Go Club Gold
Go Club Gold
BIST is the only local swimming team to recieve the GOLD standard in an Australian wide assesment of swim clubs. Assesment based on the swim clubs management, results and participation.
